The data provided by scientists show that only half a serving of nuts a day reduces the risk of gaining weight by an average of 2 kilograms for the studied 4-year period. Also, the risk of obesity is reduced by 15 percent.
What gives grounds for such conclusions, given that nuts contain fat in excess of the permissible, and we know that it is from them that it is filled? Nuts are high in calories, and it is from the calories that we gain weight.
In fact, this is not entirely correct. Calories are energy. It gives us the opportunity to do the things we love and need in life. When we do not have the strength, then our energy is not enough.
This shows that on a physical level, calories as energy are actually something good and necessary for a normal life. It is not so important how many calories in a food, but how useful or harmful it is.

A problem may occur if nuts are consumed after treatment that makes them unhealthy. Roasted nuts become carcinogenic after heat treatment, and their useful substances melt from the high temperature. Before being processed, the nuts are sprinkled with a lot of salt, rolled in flour or other flavors and this makes them really harmful.
In the usual raw state, without heat treatment, nuts are useful for health and also for the figure. Soaking before consumption makes them easier to digest.
There is another hypothesis after analyzing the results of the follow-up of volunteers at Harvard University. It is believed that chewing nuts puts a lot more energy, and the fiber in them creates a feeling of satiety for a long time, which helps maintain a healthy weight.
