We can solve the problem by making one homemade foot cream and cracked heels.
Necessary products:
- 1/4 tsp. Shea butter;
- 1/4 tsp. coconut oil;
- 1/4 tsp. magnesium flakes;
- 3 tsp. beeswax;
- 10 drops of oregano essential oil.
Method of preparation:
First, soak the magnesium flakes in a little hot water to dissolve. Then melt the beeswax in a water bath, add the coconut oil, shea butter and oregano essential oil and mix well.
Then add the oils to the dissolved magnesium flakes and mix well. Pour ready heel cream in a glass jar and allow to cool to thicken.
Store the cream in the refrigerator!
How to use:
Exfoliate your heels with pumice stone, soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes and dry. Smear the heels with a thick layer of foot cream, massage and put on towels. Do this procedure every night before bed.
Here's what else you can do to avoid the problem of cracked heels:
- consume enough zinc, magnesium and Omega-3 in the form of food or supplements;
- take vitamin C - it increases the elasticity of the skin and will reduce cracking;
- drink more water;
- make a warm foot bath every night with water and 1/4 tsp. Apple vinegar;
- Take time to massage the feet to improve circulation;
- do not walk barefoot on the beach alleys and in the sauna to avoid fungal infections;
- clean shoes and flip-flops well before putting them on;
- never stay with wet shoes and socks;
- use your vacation at the sea and walk barefoot on the sand, it is a natural exfoliant!
