American scientists have discovered the elixir of eternal youth. Unfortunately, it currently only works on mice, but experts are convinced that very soon they will be able to modify it in a way that will work on humans.

Experts have found a specific compound in avocado, broccoli and cucumber extract that has remarkable anti-aging effects on their laboratory rodents. Clinical trials have already been started on a small group of people, and the number of volunteers who allowed them to be experimented with was so great that the work of developing the elixir had to stop for a short time until a selection was made.

The compound called HMN was given through water to adult laboratory mice. As a result, their physical activity increased markedly. In addition, they gained higher bone density, a better immune system and increased muscle mass. Scientists have even reported that their vision is better and their liver is working at full speed. Last but not least, the mice lost weight.

Work on the project began with a detailed study of the properties of the protein NAD, which is involved in energy production in the body. In the process, scientists have found that with age, the body of rodents produces less NAD. This, scientists explain, is the essence of the aging process.

They began to look for a way to stimulate the production process to more mature years. The experiment began with the inclusion in the mouse menu of the compound HMN, contained in broccoli, peeled soybeans and drinking water. The aim was to see if this would stimulate the production of the NAD protein.

The results were more than remarkable. We have definitely proven that NMN not only slows down the aging process, but also literally rejuvenates mice, says the leading researcher from the research team - Prof. Shin-Ichiro Imai from the University of Washington.
