Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, studied the sleeping habits of 94 people from three tribes in Namibia, Tanzania and Bolivia.

The conclusion of scientists is that modern life does not steal our time in bed. They also question the claim that we oppose nature by staying awake after sunset. They even tend to support fans of nightlife and homecoming in the wee hours of the night.
Of course, the time needed to sleep is strictly individual for everyone and depends mostly on everyday life. Some people deliberately reduce sleep time, thus believing that they will do more work.
For example, Margaret Thatcher slept only 4 hours a day, and Bill Clinton - 5-6 hours. The record is held by Jay Leno, who slept for only 3 hours.
